theDIYpal is a wiki website, a collaborative community work of professionals and amateurs alike. Found here are articles and knowledge base of a diverse community who submits, write, edit articles and improve upon this website freely for the benefit of everyone. This website can be a platform to share a hobby, self or site promotion of products or services associated to categories within this site, share DIY home improvement tips to readers, find guides for that weekend project, a forum for the professionals and amateurs to share knowledge and advice, discuss emerging technologies and tools of the trades in the appropriate categories and a place to connect between all parties of the same interest.
For our contributors feel free to submit, write, edit and update written articles as long as the articles are written by you or from public domains or any similar resources. For visitors feel free to browse, copy, print or distribute our articles as long as you respect our terms of conditions, the terms of conditions of others, our copyrights and the existing copyrights of others. Please be civil when editing the work of others. Although we strive to keep the articles on this site so it can be edited or copied by anyone, there are always exception to the rules, so please read the copyrights of an article before you edit or republish.

Getting Started To read articles, select the category that interest you on the left navigation bar, list of articles can be located at the bottom of the category pages or use the expandable category tree on the top right hand corner. If writing a new article use the input box located at the top right corner of every page, add your article title in the input box hit create page and you will be brought to the edit page where you can choose an appropriate category template from a drop down menu, after completing your article, choose additional category for your article from the dropdown menu or create a new one. If you are writing an article and not sure how to go about doing it please use our sandbox to familiarize yourself with the editing features of Mediawiki or use the help page articles to help you along.
